I first encountered your Lemon Sponge Cake at the Lincoln Christmas Fair. One bite is all it took. Lovely moist sponge and a thick layer of butter cream in the middle - absolutely perfect, I wouldn't change a thing and can't wait for my next encounter, but don't know how I will choose which delightful flavour to treat myself to next.....

i love the lemon sponge, but i think the buttercream is too lemmony. if it could be toned down a bit, i'd enjoy it even more

On my way home from an illegal rave I decided to call in at Chatsworth where I was told there was a food event taking place. It was there I sampled some of your sponge. It was served to me by a nice young lady (hopefully she remembers me). My sponge experience was great before I even ate the slice! Then came the big bite! After enjoying your sponge I had a revelation! (and that doesnt happen very often) I felt that to compliment the wonderfully and zesty flavour of the lemon you could maybe add a little skunk to highten the experience even more!

As I noticed on your package you could make recipe suggestions. I hope that you will take this into consideration.

It's a good cake. In lesser company it would be perfectly acceptable. But in the exalted company of marvels that is the Sponge cast-list, it's lacking a little magic. I don't think it's lemony enough for it's name, myself. Maybe it's just me.

I really like all the flavours of sponge but my favourite has to be the lemon and the apple crumble. You get great value for your money most sponge wedges are skinny and leave you still feeling hungry, sponges wedges are huge and full of lovely creamy fillings it's good to know sponge gives good quality and quantity, absolutely gorgeous I could eat sponge all day long yum yum yum......
