Buy cake online and have one of our wonderful sponge cakes delivered to your door with our Sponge cake delivery service. We deliver anywhere in the mainland UK, with prices starting from under £20 including cake delivery courier charge – What a fantastic way to put a little sunshine into somebody’s day!

Sponge's journey from us to your fork:

• All natural, finest quality ingredients, weighed, mixed by hand in small batches with great care.
• Generously portioned – our 7’’ sponges are over a kilogram of Sponge loveliness – then baked in the oven.
• Popped out of their tins, cooled to maintain shape, then into the blast freezer to seal freshness. Some worry about the freezer bit, but please trust us, we have done this in our café for ten years with the result being the taste and texture of a freshly baked sponge, but stored ready for when you need it.
• Your order will be received, prepared to your specific requirements, then sent by courier and the cake delivered to your door the next day.
• Please store out of the fridge at room temperature so the Sponge is light and the middle is nice and soft, perfect for eating!
• Our sponges have a ten day life (seven days if you are buying individual wedges), therefore, you will have approximately nine days from the time of receiving your cake delivery to devour and have many a great sponge moment. If the Sponge lasts more than five days, give us a call as we must have done something wrong or you have some incredible will power!
• If it is all too much and you want to save sponge for a later date, you can pop it in the freezer where it will keep wonderfully well for the next time.

Couple of facts on our cake delivery service:

• Not going to be in to receive your Sponge? Then drop us a line at: info@sponge.co.uk and let us know where it can be left (e.g. in the porch, with a neighbour, etc) and we will pass this information onto the driver.
• UK mainland cake deliveries are by UK Mail courier, which is fully traceable.
• We can make a cake delivery abroad, but at customers own risk and priced depending on destination/weight - please call for a price.
