Show stopper Sponge Moment

"Hi There, I just wanted to drop you a line, I visited the BBC Good Food Show on Friday and after paying £24.50 to get in I wandered around seeing the same old faces and feeling that my 3 hour drive and cash could have been time and money better spent. Then I stumbled across the Sponge.co.uk stand and the cakes looked amazing. I am very pleased to say that temptation got the better of me and I bought 3 slices as I left the show and headed for home. The 3 hour drive back only served to make me more bitter as to what a let down of a day I'd had.

My mood was increased 7 fold when I finally got home stuck the kettle on and unwrapped my first slice, the look, smell and feel of the cake was amazing and the taste, dare I say it, better than my Mum’s! So I suppose the main purpose for this email is to say thank you Sponge, you made the worst of days seem a hell of a lot better. Still, it all went down hill an hour later when the wife got home and I had to share the last 2 slices.

I take thee Victoria! Wedding Sponge

"Hi, I just wanted to drop you a line to say how fantastic the Sponge cakes we ordered for our wedding at Voewood on 9th July were. We chose the Victoria as the cake for the official cutting and it looked fabulous with the beautiful flowers. Everyone loved the cakes (also had the lemon, chocolate and coffee sponges) and we're so pleased we went with you rather than going down the 'traditional' iced fruitcake road. So much better! You have fans for life in us!
