Update: Sadly the Lincoln Christmas Market has been cancelled due to the bad weather.

Sponge Cakes will be at The Lincoln Christmas Markets, 2 – 5 December 2010, The Castle and Surrounds, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN1 3AA – 01522 873400.

This is the biggest Christmas Market of its type in Europe, and draws visitors and stall holders from across the UK and overseas. There are over 300 stalls, with quality hand-crafted goods and locally produced specialist foods in this beautiful town with its Cathedral and Castle. There will be street entertainment including carollers in Victorian costume and brass bands and thousands of twinkling lights will all add to the magical atmosphere.

Sponge Cakes Ltd are known for their Cake Delivery but it’s not all business, we also support cancer research and we recently assisted at a fund raising event at UEA.

Sue made a Sponge “boobs” cake which was raffled to raise funds and we are pleased to say that £170 was raised from the stand for cancer research.
