Sponge has just launched an exclusive discount and special Mother’s Day offer for students!

Students can now fill in their 18 digit NUS card number on the Sponge website and receive 20% off any flavour 10″ ‘Friendmaker’ Sponge cakes and 10% off 7″, Wedges and Baby Sponges. Plus, especially for Mother’s Day, students can select any 7″ cake and get a personalised Mother’s Day card delivered for just £12.49 saving more than 30% off the standard price.

Sponge boost sustainability efforts

The cake makers at Sponge already pride themselves on using only the finest, tastiest, high quality and, where possible, locally sourced ingredients. Now Sponge is using sustainably sourced cocoa in their chocolate butter cream.

The cocoa is sourced from CasaLuker in Columbia, a member of the World Cocoa Foundation (WCF), which supports cocoa farmers and their families worldwide. WCF programs raise farmer incomes, encourage responsible and sustainable cocoa farming and strengthen communities.

Sponge arrives in Brighton!

The Sponge is on the rise! Now stocked in more than 40 cafes and shops across the UK, Sponge has recently arrived in Brighton. With his Sponge van pimped to the max, Richard is working hard at bringing the quirky brand of cakes to cafes, shops and deli’s in the area.

The popular Winter Specials will soon no longer be available to buy, so if Sticky Toffee and Irish Cream are your favourites, you only have up to the end of March to order these winter favourites.

Christmas Sponge
Two layers of moist Sponge cake sandwiched together with butter icing and containing mixed peel, flaked almonds, mixed spice, almond oil, cherries and sultanas.

Irish Cream Sponge
An alternative festive indulgence for the non fruit cake lovers. Two layers of moist chocolate Sponge sandwiched together with an Irish Cream butter icing.
